The last year of research in fantastic realism changed the focus of Alex's creative process in search of a new feeling of pictoriality, where the internal drama is confirmed by an expression of pictorial and plastic strength visible in the plane of the picture. Alex participated in the several exhibitions, including: • "From Vanguard to Our Days" in the Large Hall of the Union of Artists of Saint Petersburg. In this exhibition his first programmed works appeared in the new exhibits "PHARAOH" and "Secret Evening". • The International Musical Festival in Mikkeli, Finland where his personal exhibition "Miraculously Appeared Sounds" was presented. • The International Year Petersburg Biennial where several works of the series "Resurrected Gods" are exhibited. • In Germany where his personal exhibition "Resurrected Gods" was presented. • In gallery "Nevskiy-20", St. Petersburg, he had a personal exhibition, "Apples of Gesperides". • In gallery "Elena", St. Petersburg, he had a personal exhibition "Games". In addition, Alex created several works in Germany and the Netherlands and thus continued his search for new pictorial and plastic approaches.
